Privacy Policy for NapKit

NapKit ("the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

1. Data you provide and store locally

NapKit does not require account registration with us.

Data you enter is stored locally on your device and may include (when sync is off, this stays on the device; when sync is on, it is processed by Apple as described below):

• Sleep session data (start time, end time, type, notes)
• Baby profiles (name, date of birth, optional information)
• App settings (language, theme, premium status)

2. iCloud sync (optional, Premium)

If you choose to enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal Apple iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit technology. This allows your data to sync across your devices and be shared with family members you authorize. Sync uses your iCloud account and identifiers managed by Apple as part of that service. That processing is subject to Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not operate our own servers for this data.

3. App Store and subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. Apple may collect information related to purchases as described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.

4. Advertising, analytics, and tracking

NapKit does not display third-party advertisements and does not use advertising SDKs (including Google AdMob).

The App does not request App Tracking Transparency permission and does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) for cross-app tracking.

NapKit does not embed third-party analytics or marketing SDKs. We do not sell your baby’s sleep data or your contact information to data brokers.

If you choose to share analytics or crash diagnostics with developers through Apple’s system settings, that sharing is handled by Apple, not by NapKit directly.

5. Notifications and Live Activities

The App may ask for permission to send notifications so it can show sleep reminders and Live Activities on your lock screen. Notification delivery is handled by Apple’s operating system. We do not use notifications to deliver ads.

6. Data usage

Data is used to provide App functionality (sleep tracking, statistics, reminders, sync where enabled).

7. Data security

Your data is stored on your device and, if you use iCloud sync, within Apple’s iCloud infrastructure. We rely on Apple’s security for iCloud data. See Apple’s documentation for details.

8. Third-party services (summary)

The App may use:

• Apple iCloud / CloudKit (optional sync)
• Apple App Store / StoreKit (subscriptions and purchases)

9. Children’s privacy

NapKit is intended for parents and caregivers. Information about babies is entered by adults and used for sleep tracking. The App is not directed at children as the primary user. If you have questions about information relating to a child, contact us at the email below.

10. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated. Updates will be reflected on the page where this policy is published (https://napkit.net/privacy).
